Dr. Lindsay Totten is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She received her undergraduate training at Elon University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
Early in her career, Dr. Totten had the opportunity to work at the William Feinbloom Low Vision Center in Philadelphia. It was there that she developed a passion for the blind and low vision community. She is proud to have positioned her practice so that it can have a positive impact on the community.
Dr. Totten has enjoyed practicing in her home state of North Carolina since 2013; providing primary eye care, emergency eye care, fitting contact lenses, and providing pediatric eye care. Her clinical interests include the management of ocular disease, including glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration, dry eyes, infections, and headache management.
Dr. Totten believes that the best healthcare relationships are built on mutual trust, and strives to involve patients in personal decisions about their care. Dr. Totten is licensed by the North Carolina State Board of Optometry as well as the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.
